G-Unit rapper Lloyd Banks has decided to take Kanye West’s promotional route of releasing new music every Friday until his album, Hunger for More 2, comes out on November 23rd.

West started his G.O.O.D. Friday scheme in early September and has released 8 songs so far, with the most recent one on October 2nd: “Christian Dior Denim Flow” featuring. Kid Cudi, Pusha T, John Legend, Lloyd Banks, and Ryan Leslie.  Many of the G.O.O.D. Friday songs feature Kid Cudi, Jay Z, and Pusha T.  This star studded 6+ minute song is Banks’ first appearance on Kanye’s movement.

Banks, known for his vast mixtape circuit success as you can see from the mixtape loaded site datpiff.com, hasn’t had a studio album since Rotten Apple in 2006.  And the album was just that, a piece of musical garbage, especially in comparison to 2004’s Hunger for More which came in the early prime of the G-Unit era.  Banks is bringin’ back the fire with HFM2, he says in a RealTalkNY interview.  After hearing “Beamer Benz or Bently” and “Any Girl,” it’s hard not to believe him.

With HFM2 still about 7 weeks away from hitting the stores, Banks has decided to make his own weekly release movement called “Blue Friday.” Every Friday the Queens rapper will release his own new mixtape style material.  It’s not certain who will pitch in with Banks on the Blue Friday songs, but you can probably assume G-Unit affiliated rappers and Kanye will have some verses and hooks.

50 Cent has confirmed that Kanye, Eminem, and Raekwon will definitely be featured on HFM2.
